BC Women’s Golf Wins First League Championship

The Bellevue College women’s golf team not only won their sixth straight tournament at the final league match of the season April 29-30, but they also locked in their first NWAACC Women’s Golf league championship! The final NWAACC league match of the season was hosted by Bellevue at Redmond Ridge and Glendale CC that final weekend in April. The Bulldogs were led by standout sophomore Katya Case, who won Medalist honors with a strong two-day total of 155, winning the tournament by 10 shots. Also playing well for Bellevue, freshman Kayce Ogishima finished in 6th place with a score of 176. One shot back and tied for 7th were Corey Rois and Jamie Kirsila with 177. Alayna Herring was 17th with 187.
