Bellevue College baseball’s transfer success is marked by four ex-players who are currently on teams that qualified for the NCAA regionals that begins today. Tyler Baumgartner starts for the ninth ranked University of Oregon Ducks while Jerad Casper is on the fifth ranked Oregon State University Beavers. Both schools earned hosting rights in the NCAA regionals. Colin Hering is the starting right fielder for Coastal Carolina who are battling in the regional pod hosted by Virginia Tech while Blake Fulghum, who catapulted Liberty University to a regional berth with a complete game shutout last week, is on the staff for the Flames in the South Carolina regional.
