Local product Cooper Brown (Eastlake HS) made nearly everything he threw up draining nine-of-10 with eight of them being three-pointers for a game-high 28 points in the Bulldogs’ 110-59 win over visiting Centralia at Courter Family Athletic Pavilion. For a second game in a row, BC found their magic recipe with the long ball, draining 14-of-26 from three-point land while also converting 14-of-17 from the line in the offensive show.

The ‘dogs had 28 assists and ignited their offense with 14 steals on the defensive end as the Bulldogs raced out 48-23 in the first half before putting up a whopping 62 points in the second half. The scoring spree, reminiscent of a typical NBA all-star game, started early as Brown’s three ball put BC up 17-4 just four minutes into the game. BC reached the 30 point mark while Centralia was still trying to get into double digits as the ‘dogs led 32-9 at the 8:50 mark. Isaiah White’s three pointer put Bellevue up 48-23 to end the half before the scoring spree went wild in the second half.

Darek Usitalo picked right up where the hot shooting hands in the first half left off with a three-pointer just 20 seconds into the game. From there the ‘dogs coasted as ten of the squad’s eleven players scored in the big second half. Julian Ibarra and Daviaun Gale each had 10 points in the half.

Other than Brown, BC also had five others in double digits with White (14), Ibarra (13), Usitalo (12), and Gale and Daniel Kabamba adding 10.
The Bulldogs are now on a two game win streak and will host the Bulldog Classic this weekend with a 7 p.m. game Fri. Dec. 6 vs. the Washington Athletic Club.
