Volleyball Rolls Over Shoreline

Bellevue College volleyball cruised to a 3-0 sweep over host Shoreline in NWAC North Region play. Bellevue won by scores in commanding fashion of 25-11, 25-12, 25-15.

Bellevue hit a clean .333 for the night and were led by freshman Gillian Merhoff who had a breakout match with seven kills with only one swing error for a hit percentage of .429.

Maycee Ward prevented Shoreline from any type of comeback as she led the team with 17 digs. The defense was tight up front as well as Olivia Beal had two solo blocks with BC having six total in the sweep.

Bellevue is 7-2 in region play and 22-6 overall. The ‘dogs travel to Everett this Fri. Nov. 1 for a 7 p.m. first serve.
