
Bellevue College volleyball won in three straight sets over visiting Skagit Valley College at Courter Family Pavilion by scores of 25-14, 26-24, 25-21. The Bulldogs took advantage of a tight Cardinal offensive unit in set one as the Cardinals committed 12 errors en route to a -.240 percentage. Five straight errors led to a 4-2 Bellevue deficit to a 7-4 lead and the ‘dogs never looked back.
Set two was a tight one and came down to set point at 25-24 as Tommi Gallucci sealed the win in set two with an ace.
Attack errors again costed Skagit Valley in set three as BC went on an 8-2 run at 13-11 to cruise to the win.
Jessi Mahler had 10 kills and 11 digs while Gallucci led the defensive end with 12 digs. Setter Lauren Wittmers had 13 assists and had three aces as well.
Bellevue travels to Everett this Friday Oct. 6 fora 7 p.m. match.
