
Bellevue College volleyball cruised to a three-set win at Olympic, taking the sets 25-19, 25-5, 25-18. The offense was on fire hitting over .350 for the night while limiting the Rangers to below 0 with Emma Heywood leading the way for the ‘dogs with 13 kills. Jeanice Gamez had eight kills and four block assists up front while Annie Goetze had seven kills and six block assists. Tommi Gallucci’s passes were on all night as she had 13 digs and five assists.
Bellevue’s lone threat came in set one as the Rangers went on a four-point run to tie the match at 13. Three straight blocks by BC’s defense then flipped the momentum as the Bulldogs would sail from that point on.
Bellevue is 2-1 (17-4 overall) and have a bye this Friday before hosting Skagit Valley next Wednesday Oct. 4 at 7:00 p.m.
