Bellevue College women’s basketball lost their second game of the season tonight in a 76-54 loss to Green River.
The Gators, who came in receiving votes as was Bellevue in the NWAC Ticket Smarter Coaches’ Poll, controlled the game and led by as much as 29 points after three quarters.
Bellevue had it’s worst night of the year shooting at a rough 27%, making only four-of-26 from three-point range (15%). Bellevue was also out-rebounded 28-16 defensively which contributed to the blowout.
Bri Byrnes had 13 points while Helena Van Ess snagged down nine rebounds.
The Bulldogs, 4-2 overall, will take on Northwest University this Saturday at 6:00 p.m.
