
In one of the fastest matches of the year, Bellevue College volleyball took care of business sweeping visiting Olympic College in three, 25-17, 25-8, 25-18. Bellevue swung at a .39% clip including a scorching .533 percentage in the dominating second set.
In a match where the Bulldogs were never threatened, several ‘dogs contributed up front all night as BC had 14 block assists led by Makenna Mosher who had four. AJ Gueller had three while Elizabeth Hoak, Marin Mackey, and Jeanice Gamez had two apiece.
Mackey led BC with10 kills while Mosher had eight and a swing percentage of .583. Gueller was on as well with six kills and a .455 percentage. BC setters Lauren Wittmers and Taylor Pederson were dialed in setting up the pins with 15 and 12 assists respectively.
Bellevue is now 3-0 in North Region play and 17-5 overall. They take their six game win streak into Mount Vernon tomorrow to take on the other team in the North who stands undefeated in Skagit Valley in the featured big match of the NWAC Friday night. First serve is set for 7:00 p.m.
