Bellevue College volleyball went 3-1 this weekend at the Columbia Basin Crossover Tourney in Pasco. The Bulldogs played Linn-Benton and Rogue from the South Region, Pierce from the West Region, and Treasure Valley from the East Region. BC fell to defending NWAC champion Linn-Benton on Saturday, falling in straight sets 25-15, 25-21, 25-17. Bellevue then got back on the winning track topping Pierce in three straight, 25-20, 25-21, 25-11.
Bellevue closed out the tourney today with a 3-1 win over Treasure Valley and a 3-0 win over Rogue. BC lost the first set 25-23 but then rebounded with dominating sets of 25-17, 25-14, 25-18. In the afternoon win over Rogue, BC won 25-16, 25-19, 25-22.
The Bulldogs closed out pre-season play with a 14-5 record; good for second most wins in the conference behind Linn-Benton (15-0). Bellevue hosts Shoreline this Wednesday in the region opener for both clubs. First serve is set for 7:00 PM.
