Bellevue’s Sarah Lawrence Takes Title at PLU Women’s Golf Invitational

Bellevue College women’s golfer Sarah Lawrence won her second consecutive individual title in two tries this weekend at the Pacific Lutheran Invitational, held at Lake Spanaway GC. Lawrence shot rounds of 74-73 for a two-day total of 3-over par. Her 73 on Sunday was the low round of the day and was also shared by teammate Tia Wolcott, who shot 73 as well after opening with a 79 on Saturday. She finished tied for third overall in an impressive showing amongst four-year college players, as the field was dominated with four-year colleges from the Pacific Northwest. Bryn Lawson, another freshman on BC’s squad, finished tied for 17th with rounds of 83-82.
