Women’s Basketball Tops Olympic

Bellevue College women’s basketball got off to a hot start outscoring host Olympic College 21-12 in the first quarter en route to a 65-56 win. After building a 9-point lead, BC and OC went dead even for the rest of the game; with each team scoring 11, 18, and 15 points from the second quarter onward.

Mo Bungay had 14 points while Barbora Sutara had 11 rebounds. Freshman Jalena Henry had a stellar effort off the bench, scoring 9 points and grabbing 7 rebounds in 14 minutes of play.

Bellevue is now on top of the North Region at 6-1 and travels to Everett tomorrow for a 5:00 start.
