Bellevue College men’s golf picked up where they left off from the fall by taking their own tourney, the BC Spring Shootout by 26 strokes over runner up Skagit Valley. The spring season opener, held at The Club at Snoqualmie Ridge, featured tough conditions which ballooned scores for many of the visiting team golfers but did not phase Bellevue’s Ryan Knox and Dallon Bennett. Both shot 73 before Knox took home medalist honors in a one hole playoff.
Tyler Spalti shot 76 while teammate Austin Duffy shot 78 to place fourth and fifth overall respectively. With players finishing first, second, fourth, and fifth overall in the individual standings, the ‘dogs dominated the scene as the squad ran their record to 4-0 on the season.
Bellevue will tee it up again at the Olympic Invitational April 6-7 at The Home Course in DuPont.
