
In round two of the rivalry in NWAC North Region play between visiting Edmonds and host Bellevue, the visiting Tritons, in surprising manner, swept Bellevue 3-0 tonight at Courter Family Athletic Pavilion. The Tritons topped Bellevue by scores of 25-17, 25-21, and 25-9.
In set one, 9 errors on BC’s end turned an evenly-competitive game at 14-14 into an Edmonds advantage. The Tritons would then carry that into a win in set two in which BC committed 7 errors.
In the final set, Edmonds rolled with the momentum with a .500 hitting efficiency and had a high number of service aces to dominate the match. Dyamonde Schirmer had one of the cleaner games for the ‘dogs with 4 kills, 8 assists, and 8 digs.
Bellevue is now 6-2 (22-9 overall) and travels to Skagit Valley this Friday October 25 for a 7:00 first serve.
