
Bellevue College women’s soccer defeated visiting Lower Columbia 2-0 yesterday in NWAC West Region play. The Bulldogs were in control most of the way in a game that could have easily been a blowout, as BC put up 13 shots compared to LC’s three.
Lauren Landis was on ends of both Bellevue goals scoring at the 25:48 mark unassisted then fed Grace Nesbitt two minutes later for the ‘dogs’ second and final goal. Jaelynn Ramsay recorded the shutout in goal for the Bulldogs.
Bellevue is now 3-1 in league and 5-2 overall. The ‘dogs take on Green River next Saturday September 28 in a night matchup at Wilson Playfields in Kent. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m.
