Bellevue College women’s soccer took a step forward towards being one of the top teams to be reckoned with in the NWAC as Lauren Landis’ goal at the end of the second half was all the Bulldogs needed in a thrilling 1-0 win over Tacoma. The Titans, along with Highline, have been Bellevue’s two toughest rivals in the West Region who have been difficult to overtake; until today.
In a defensive gem, the ‘dogs allowed only three Titan shots on goal the entire day as Jaelynn Ramsay recorded the shutout in the box. Landis, one of seven players who had to gut it out playing all 90 minutes in the contest, finally found net as time expired to put the Bulldogs at 2-1 in league and tied with Tacoma for second place. The squad heads to Grays Harbor this Tuesday September 17 for a West Region matchup with kickoff starting at 12:00.
