Visiting Highline College stood in the way of Bellevue College men’s basketball ending the pre-season on a high note by topping the Bulldogs 70-56 yesterday afternoon. The Bulldogs, who have lost four of their last five games, fell victim to cold shooting in the second half again, as they did in a home loss Wednesday to Centralia.
Jordan Muir-Keung led Bellevue with 21 points. Taylor Freeman added 15 points and was 8-of-9 from the free throw line.
Bellevue is now 10-5 and opens up league play on Wednesday January 11 at Edmonds. Tipoff is slated for 7:00 p.m.
