Bellevue freshman Brenda Akoto was named NWAC Under Armour Player of the Week for her brilliant play leading Bellevue’s women’s basketball team to a huge tourney title at the Pierce Holiday Classic this past weekend.
The tourney featured not only a big win over the defending NWAC Champions (Lane), but had several of the top teams in the NWAC at the tournament. Here is a link to Akoto’s honor.
