Bellevue College men’s basketball rode the hot hands from the perimeter last night, as the backcourt tandem of Jalen Ward and Dominique Jordan combined for 44 points in the 76-67 win at Whatcom. Coming off recent games in which the Bulldogs were ice cold from three-point land, Jordan threw in a phenomenal six-of-eight from three point range and ended the night with 28 points. Ward’s night was balanced all around with 16 points, but also dishing out a team-high five assists and pulling down five rebounds. After jetting out to a 10-point lead at halftime, BC held on to the momentum in the second half, sinking 71% of their three-pointers. Bellevue’s win clinched at a minimum a two-way tie for the North Region title. A win this Sunday at home, their final regular season game vs. Everett, will clinch the outright title. Tipoff this Sunday March 1 for the regular season finale is set for 3PM.
