Bellevue College baseball ended their season with a 5-2 loss to Lower Columbia College, in a re-match of last year’s championship game. Relief pitcher Scott Kuzminsky pitched well in long relief against the Red Devils, allowing only one run in over 4 innings of work. Jordan Richartz and Brady Kerr, both freshmen, led Bellevue with three hits apiece. The Bulldogs end their season with a 35-12 record. Next up is the annual Major League Baseball amateur draft on June 4 in which one or more Bellevue players may be selected.
The Bulldogs also placed three on the All-NWAACC team and one on the Gold Glove team. Tyler Baumgartner (OF), Dustin Breshears (INF), and Adrian Sampson (P) were named first-team All-NWAACC. Colin Hering was named to the second team as a utility player. Breshears was also voted onto the NWAACC Gold Glove team.
