The BC softball program has announced the commitments from twelve players for the 2011-12 season. Nine incoming freshman, two transfers and one sophomore who is returning back to the program after a one-year hiatus will join a strong returning class made up of six players from the BC team that recorded a 38-3 overall record, a 24-0 North Region record and North Region Title and a 4th Place NWAACC Championship Finish.

Emilly Cunningham – Pitcher/Infielder from South Kitsap High School
Larissa Johnson – Infielder from Kennewick High School
Shelby Poole – Outfielder/Catcher from Kentridge High School
Brianne Cossey – Infielder from Kentwood High School
Brittany Parkhurst – Outfielder from Mount Vernon High School
Marcy Harris – Utility from Omak High School
Jamaika Walker – Infielder/Outfielder from Sehome High School
Nicole Barger – Utility from Kentridge High School
Danielle Jackman – Pitcher/Outfielder from Jackson High School
Sarah Agerup – (returning after playing for Bellevue in 2010) Infielder from Snohomish High School
“I am very excited about the group of newcomers we have for the upcoming year,” stated Head Coach Leah Francis. “Collectively, they have a lot of experience and will bring quite a bit of depth to the team. We have a strong group of returners and I am excited to see what the group as a whole can do this upcoming season!”
