The new MLS soccer club, the Seattle Sounders FC, filled out its final roster spot with former BCC standout, Vini Oliveira. He was named winner of Seattle Sounders FC’s SuperSearch reality show Sunday night at the Starfire Sports Complex in Tukwila. His prize was a spot on Sounders FC’s roster.
Oliveira was chosen out of 10 finalists by a panel of judges that included Sounders FC coach Sigi Schmid, technical director Chris Henderson an general Manager Adrian Hanauer. On Monday, Feb. 2, he headed to Southern California along with his new teammates to continue training camp at Oxnard College in Oxnard, California this week.
