I can’t remember not being into Astronomy – Star Wars, (some) Star Trek, Dune, you name it! Movies and books about space always fascinated me, and I am thankful to be allowed to teach and study such an interesting subject! Astrophysics and Cosmology are both interesting to me – “is our universe infinite, what is space exactly, and what/who created it and our universe” are all questions that I hope we get closer to answering. And while my training is not in Astronomy (Physics Ph.D. from The University of California, Irvine), with my knowledgeable colleagues here at Bellevue College, I hope to learn and contribute to our body of knowledge (and to do outreach) for Washingtonians, our planet, and my friends and family in Michigan, where I grew up!
