Advising

Academic advisors within the Academic Advising Department assist current Bellevue College students to enroll in and complete 100 or 200-level prerequisite courses, a certificate, a professional/ technical associate’s degree, or an associate’s degree for university transfer (transfer associate). Academic Advising can help with:

  • Planning/enrolling in/changing courses
  • Exploring the full range of BC offered programs of study
  • Supporting students through the four year transfer process, inclusive of workshops, transfer fairs, and individual transfer support appointments
  • Creating a detailed educational plan
  • Referring you to campus resources and services to aid in your holistic success

Not sure who your advisor is?

Advising in the Academic Advising department is based on your self-selected Bellevue College (BC) pathway. If you do not yet know which pathway you would like to declare, you will need to meet with a New Student/Exploratory Advisor. Find Your Advisor

Academic Advising services can be accessed virtually and in-person. In addition to appointment based advising, we also offer Drop-In, aka, “quick question” advising on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. More information and how to sign up can be found on the Academic Advising Page
