CollegeNet via Windows 7 using built-in wireless setup
- Open the Network and Sharing Center


- Click on Manage Wireless Networks

- Click on Add

- Click on Manually create a network profile

- For Network name type CollegeNet exactly as shown. Choose WPA2-Enterprise for the Security type and AES for the Encryption type. Leave the checkmark on Start this connection automatically. When done click on the Next button.

- Click on Change connection settings

- Click on the Security tab

- Click on the Settings button

- Remove the checkmark from Validate server certificate then click on the Configure... button

- Remove the checkmark from Automatically use my Windows logon name and password then click on the OK button
- Click on the OK button to close the Protected EAP properties window
- Click on the OK button again and then click on the Close button
- Close the Manage Network Wireless window. A prompt should come up stating additional information is needed.

- Click on this prompt

- In the first field type your username. If you are a student you should type student\MyUsername replacing MyUsername with your valid Bellevue College logon and in the second field you would type the password you use for this account. If you are Faculty or Staff you will want to type campus\MyUsername and the password you would normally use with this account. Click on the OK button when done.
- If you receive the Set Network Location Window

- Click on Public network

- You can now click on the Close button. You should now be connected to the wireless network.
