Get Website Help

Creating and managing a website isn't always as easy as it seems. Don't fret, you have several options for seeking help!

Web Services (That's Us!)

Give us a call first if you need help. We are the primary resource on campus for providing assistance to college web managers, as well as assisting on web-related questions. Here are few examples of the types of assistance we can provide:

Contact Web Services for more information.

Hire interns or hourly staff

Some departments may have funds to hire hourly students or be in a position to hire interns to help them design a website or maintain it.  If you want help recruiting an hourly position or an internship, contact the Center for Career Connections.

Digital Media Arts students

Media students can also be a great resource for designing department websites and you can provide a student with an opportunity for great work experience.  It's possible they may already be working on a class project or may need to fulfill an internship requirement.  Contact the Digital Media Arts Program Chair if you are interested in using Media students as a resource.

Faculty Resource Center

The Faculty Resource Center (FRC) provides curriculum design assistance and support and training for instructors who teach online. Staff in the FRC can also sometimes help academic departments and programs build new websites, depending on time and availability. Visit the Faculty Resource Center site for details and contact information.

Outside design help

Departments may sometimes wish to hire outside personnel to plan and design their websites.  There are many companies in the area that provide this kind of assistance. Just be sure to point these contractors to our web standards and requirements.

Take a class

There are plenty of credit and non-credit offerings taught each quarter at Bellevue College to help you learn some basics. Check out our class schedules page for a current list of classes.

Website Managers List

The website managers’ list is a forum for communicating with other employees who manage BC websites, just like you do.  Learn more about the list.
