How to Apply

 

1. Attend the orientation

Start by attending a Worker Retraining Orientation. Orientations are held every Tuesday at Bellevue College. The orientation will cover all questions and concerns for prospective participants.

Then follow the steps below:

 

2. Schedule an appointment

At the orientation, we will have appointment schedules available for you to schedule an appointment at a later date with a Worker Retraining advisor or you can call 425-564-4054 for future appointments. If you need accomodations or the orientation dates will not work for you, call 425-564-4054 for a one-on-one session (Please note: one-on-one sessions without an orientation may require a longer session or additional follow-up sessions).

 

3. Fill out the application forms

Fill out all the application forms that you have been provided with at the orientation session. Unsure of an answer? Leave it blank and we will assist you when we review the forms together.

 

4. Meet with a Worker Retraining Program advisor

Be sure to bring:

  • all the completed forms

  • your Photo ID

  • an unemployment pay stub or layoff letter (if applicable)

At the meeting, we will discuss your educational plans and options for training and funding your education.
