Our programs help people get the skills they need to enter or re-enter the workforce. The tabs above will guide you to our individual funding sources. If you qualify under one of our many programs, we may be able to help pay for tuition, fees and under some programs, even books!

 

Funding Programs:

 

  • BFET (Basic Food Employment & Training) Program: Funding for individuals receiving Food Stamps
  • Opportunity Grant: Funding for low income adults with little or no college experience
  • Worker Retraining: Funding for individuals who are:
    • currently receiving unemployment (UI) or exhausted their UI in the last 24 months *OR*
    • recently laid off *OR*
    • displaced homemakers *OR*
    • formerly self-employed but lost their business to economic factors in the community *OR*
    • recent honorably discharged unemployed veterans
  • WorkFirst: Funding for TANF parents

 

Unique Training Program (not funding programs - scholarships available for those who qualify)

I-BEST for Office Assistant : Cohort 2 quarter credit program for ESL & Adult Basic Education students.

 

All training programs at BC Workforce Education include advising, career planning, connections to additional funding sources, assistance with Financial Aid and related agencies such as DSHS, ES, WIA etc. Computers and faxes are available.

Visitor Info: New Parking Policy

Effective 9/19/11 visitors need to park in Daily Metered Parking, Lots 9A-C, 5th Floor of Parking Garage, or Lot 15 (see the NEW BC Parking map) The daily permit is $2.00 and payable in exact cash or card only.
