CMST 294 Special Topics in Communication: Directing Actors for Motion Pictures • 5 CR

Previously COMM 294/295/296/297. May be repeated for a maximum of 15 credits.

Students will work with professional actors, learning how to choose the right actors for a script, the audition, rehearsals, and directing. Each student will direct a short scene that will be shot on videotape. The class ends with the making of a ten minute film using professional actors. The course follows a hybrid format, both meeting in a classroom and utilizing an online site
