Program Description
The BC Alert System is a free service available to all active BC students. As a subscriber to this service, you’ll receive an e-mail or text message alert any time the college closes unexpectedly, classes are delayed, or during any other emergency conditions that relate to your individual safety or the safety of the campus community. The alert system is used exclusively for “need to know information” and will not be used for any other form of communication.

To activate your alerts, just sign in with your Student Identification Number (SID) and your Personal Identification Number (PIN). Your BC e-mail (if you have one) will automatically be set to receive alerts during your first visit. You also have the option to add personal e-mail addresses or phone numbers to your profile settings. If you prefer being contacted via phone, your phone or device must be equipped to accept text messages.
