PROGRAM OR CLUB INFORMATION Desi Club
Advisor: Faisal Jaswal Office Location: C 210 Description: The mission of the Desi Club is to create awareness and educate Bellevue Community College about Desi Culture and heritage. We hope to create an environment where students are encouraged to explore and experience. To encourage social interaction among the Desi community, we plan on hosting Varian cultural and social events, while still staying in touch with the other members of the BCC community. Vision: This club will encompass an environment where students are encouraged to explore and experience the south Asian society where all thoughts and ideas are embraced equally. Mission: The mission of the Desi club is to create awareness and educate BCC about the south Asian culture and heritage. Goals: To encourage social interaction among the Desi community we plan on hosting various culture and social events where this community will be on par with those students of UW so a transition be set between the two colleges Club Meetings: Friday 2:45-3:15 C 211 | BUDGET INFORMATION for year 2012-2013 |
