Welcome to Bellevue College!

Hello and Welcome to Bellevue College’s Associated Student Government. My name is Joseph Root, and I serve as your ASG President. The Student Government at Bellevue College is an elected body dedicated to serving students by establishing a pluralistic, diverse and rich academic community where all students feel welcome and valued, and have the opportunity to excel. To achieve that goal, we participate in college governance; we represent student interests and push for increased student representation among various committees on campus. We, your elected governing body, act as a liaison to represent the student voice from Bellevue College’s halls to Olympia to the United States Congress. We lobby in Olympia on students behalf, put on events and support clubs and programs to enrich student life. I would like to personally welcome you to be a part of this year’s student government, and help us achieve our collective goals. We use your feedback to improve the way we operate and hope to hear from you.
