"Computing Degrees and Careers," prepared by ACM, the IEEE Computer Society, and the Association for Information Systems (AIS), aims to provide students, their parents, and teachers with information on what computing is and the career opportunities it offers. Initially 250,000 brochures were distributed to high school and middle school principals. Since it was announced to ACM members, requests for the career guide have poured in from both the high school and university levels, and more have been printed.
