How do I forward my mail?

Note: These instructions apply to Internet Explorer users only.

 

Important: If you decide to forward your e-mail, be aware of the risks. You may need to adjust settings on your other account(s) so messages from BC are not blocked or delivered to your Junk folder. The college cannot be responsible for you not receiving college communications if you set up e-mail forwarding.



  1. Log in at http://mail.bellevuecollege.edu - (Review the steps)

  2. Choose Options, located in the upper right hand corner of the screen.

  3. Choose Rules, located on the left options menu.

  4. Choose New Rule

  5. Choose Create a new rule for arriving messages.

  6. Select the option to Forward or redirect...

  7. Mark the checkbox next to Redirect the message to people or distribution lists

  8. Set the specific rule by selecting the link titled, people or distribution lists

  9. A dialogue box will pop up, allowing you to enter the e-mail address where you'd like your e-mail forwarded.

  10. Click OK. Clicking OK will close the window.

  11. Next, you'll need to save the rule. Give the rule a name, then choose Save.

  12. You’ll probably get a pop-up window confirming, “This rule will be applied to every message that you receive. Is this correct?” Choose OK to confirm this.
