Request to take over 18 credits

Before you request to take over 18 credits, please be aware that for every hour of class time, you are expected to spend two hours doing homework.

If you wish to take over 18 (up to 21) credits, you must submit this request form and have earned at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA at BC or can show a previous transcript with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Any request to take more than 21 credits must be submitted directly to the VP of Student Services.

If you are on the waitlist and have a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher, you do not need to submit this form. Payment does not guarantee your schedule. If the waitlist enrolls you in over 18 credits you must pay any additional tuition and fees or you may be dropped from the class.

If you are registered for more than 18 credits and you wish to drop a class, you must do so in person at the Student Service Center.

Students wishing to register for more than 21 credits must appeal to the VP of Student Services.
