Eligibility Requirements

• Is a woman student.
• Meets the age requirements for specific scholarships.
• Has been a resident of Washington State a minimum of one year.
• Has been accepted into a program or course of study at an accredited school in Washington State or is in an "online" program accepted by Washington State educational institutions.
• Demonstrates scholastic ability.
• Is in need of financial assistance.
• Submit an official transcript of grades (copy accepted).

Instructions to scholarship applicants are as follows:

1. Type or print clearly in black or blue ink only.
2. Complete 4-page application for each scholarship applied for. Read and answer all questions completely.
3. Completed application and all related material must be mailed in a manila envelope with sufficient postage, post marked by May 1, 2013, and received no later than May 5, 2013.

Signed essay (Career Objective-500 words or less)

Financial Aid and college expense estimates
3 signed & dated letters of recommendation

Letter of Acceptance/Proof of enrollment
Name and address of local newspaper for media release
