Eligibility criteria for students:

• Be currently enrolled in a community college & enrolled at least through December 2012.
• By December 31, 2012, have completed a minimum of 45 quarter college-level credit hours at a community college within the past 5 years (fall 2007-present).
• Have a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 in all college-level credit coursework completed in the last 5 years (fall 2007-present).
• Have a record free from suspension, probation or other serious disciplinary action at the community college.
• Have a record free from criminal conduct or, if a convicted felon, have completed all conditions of sentencing including probation.
• Have temporary or permanent U.S. residency, or be attending college on an appropriate visa.

Students do not need to be members of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society to apply; the application is simply run through the organization's online scholarship system. Students do need to have access to an enrollment key in order to even access the online application. The access key is - MDA5NDQx4557.
