The Assistance League of Seattle is an all volunteer organization providing scholarships for tuition and books to community colleges and technical schools in King County. The goal of these scholarships is to help students in need who seek an education but may not qualify for traditional scholarships.
Students must have a financial need, reside in King County and qualify for in-state tuition status. They must carry at last 10 credits per quarter and maintain a 3.0 GPA or above. Students cannot have other similar financial Aid.
Application Materials:
• Application filled out in full
• Three Letters of Recommendation
- 1 from an academic source
- 1 from a personal source
- 1 from a past or present employer
• A transcript of your grades
• A brief personal statement
