Advanced Track & Audio/Video Editing Labs
These labs house the professional hardware and software used in audio and video editing courses.
AutoCAD Design Lab
Open to all students enrolled in Engineering or Interior Design classes, this lab has Computer-Aided Drawing and Drafting software and large format printing available.
Basic Skills Lab
ESL and international students will find assistance and technology resources to develop the English language skills necessary for college success.
Business Division Labs
Nearly 100 computers are available to help students build a variety of business technology skills needed for today’s dynamic business world.
Business Technology Systems (BTS) Tech Lab
The BTS Tech Lab offers an independent study environment without direct instruction. Take classes on your own time, and select the type of skills you need. Check the BTS Tech Lab schedule for drop-in times and schedules.
Career Education Options (CEO) Lab
This lab and classroom supports the technology needs of CEO students.
Cisco Labs
These labs located at North Campus are equipped with hardware and software necessary to teach the latest networking technologies implemented throughout the world.
Developmental Math Lab
This lab provides tutorial assistance for math students on a drop-in basis and computer-based tutorials that supplement classroom activities.
Disability Resource Center Lab
Providing a combination of uniquely equipped computers and personal assistance, these facilities are dedicated to supporting students with disabilities.
Information Technology (IT) Programming Lab
Emphasizing coursework in client/server technology, programming languages and Internet development, this lab meets current industry standards for the applications taught in IT classes.
Interactive Multimedia Labs
Students in the Media program will find multimedia development software and equipment that meet current industry standards.
Language Lab
The Language Lab is available for students studying in the World Languages program and in the English Language Institute. This lab enhances instruction in the classroom by providing computer access and exercises in listening, speaking, reading and writing. Exercises are provided by individual instructors.
Mediated Math Lab
This specialized lab utilizes a computer-based teaching approach to provide hands-on access for a large number of self-paced and traditional math classes.
Music Lab
Hardware and software tied into electronic keyboards is used to support music students working with ear-training and computer-assisted music composition.
Nursing Lab
These computers provide multimedia tutorials and learning support for nursing students.
N250 Open Lab
The Open Lab has over 200 PCs and Macintosh computers available to all registered students. Internet access and software applications that support academic and vocational courses are available.
Open Computer Classroom
This room is available for scheduling by faculty members for instructional purposes.
Physics Lab
Used during classes to teach and practice computerized data analysis, this lab also supports the general physics curriculum.
Reading/Writing Lab
Students can improve vocabulary, comprehension skills and reading rate, or get assistance with college writing assignments, projects, resumes and college applications. Assistance and reference materials are available to students in all academic areas.
Science Learning Center
The 14 Apple computers in this lab provide multiple software applications supporting instruction across the science curriculum.
Technical Support/Information Technology Lab
Students enrolled in the Technical Support program use this lab to acquire hands-on networking and hardware/software configuration experience.
WorkFirst Classrooms
Students in the Worker Retraining and WorkFirst programs use these labs to acquire the computer skills needed to improve their job skills and employability.
