Posters & Banners
Our Epson 9800 wide-format printer produces high-resolution full-color or black & white images. Standard media width is 36” but is available up to 44” with advance notice. The length is as long as you like. We use only archival quality Epson inks. Poster and banner requests are routed through our graphics department for file preparation. New designs are subject to graphics turnaround times. Use a Posters & Banners Request Center Request to submit a work order. See Sending Images to Graphics for Image resolution requirements. Posters and banners are priced by linear feet of material used and ink coverage. Less than 50% coverage and/or text only is considered light. Graphics and photos with more than 50% ink coverage are considered heavy. Feel free to request a cost estimate. We have three types of media in stock: Heavy Matte Coated Paper (for standard posters and banners, can be laminated), Premium Gloss Photo Paper (for one of a kind fine art or photography), and Scrim Vinyl (water resistant and primarily for outdoor use). We can mount your posters, etc., on foam-core board. We keep white, 24" x 36" foam-core (.1875" thick) in stock but can order larger sizes and/or black foam-core board upon special request (additional turnaround required).
Laminate is a medium-weight material (5 mil) with UV protection to minimize fading. We can laminate items up to ½” thick and trim them either right to the edge or leave a border to encapsulate them (keeps moisture out). Let us know which you prefer. Lamination material is available in both gloss and matte finishes. The gloss finish is standard unless a matte finish is specifically requested. If an item needs to be especially sturdy, we can run it through the laminator twice.
We have velcro or grommets available to help hang your poster or banner.
Approximately two to three days, depending on workload (not including graphics time). Please call ahead if your job is time sensitive to ensure we can accommodate your deadline.
