Associate in Arts Degree Animation & Graphics

Brief Description

This program offers students an opportunity to develop skills and increase competencies in illustration, image manipulation, screen design and 3D animation. Industry standard software allows students the opportunity to use applications in the production of illustration, animation, web design and video.

Learning Outcomes

Degree recipients should possess the skills and abilities described below:

  • Understand and utilize appropriate methods of production planning specific to area of concentration.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with software tools and processes specific to area of concentration.
  • Demonstrate appropriate use of a lexicon of terms and concepts specific to area of concentration.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work in groups.
  • Demonstrate the ability to tell a story, reveal a process, and illuminate a concept or action visually.
