This institute provides custom training solutions for a variety of business needs including office applications, advanced computer training and professional development. Classes and programs are held on-site or at BCC's North Campus.
Students and community members can find career planning and job search assistance in the Center for Careers Connections . The Center provides one-on-one career advising, classes and workshops, work-study and internship opportunities, and many computerized resources. The Center for Careers Connections is also a WorkSource affiliate location in Seattle-King County providing community resources for businesses and job seekers.
The Center for Liberal Arts is a hub of rich
cultural and educational programs. The Scholar-in-Residence
program brings educators and experts from around the globe
to enrich the campus learning community. Other programs include
a campus-wide reading activity, a democracy awareness project
and an upcoming student honors program.
The CTILAC project incorporates critical thinking and information literacy skills into BCC classes. Students learn to use electronic esources, think critically about problems and make informed decisions - skills that will serve them well for a lifetime of learning.
The ELFCC offers high-quality childcare for children ages 3 months - 6 years in a nurturing environment. The ELFCC provides on-site training for students enrolled in BCC early childhood education programs, as well as parenting resources for community members.

The U.S. Department of Labor has selected BCC to create a national Life Science Informatics Center of Excellence, to develop biomedical informatics skill standards and curricula and provide training programs in the field of biomedical informatics.
The NWCET has won national and international
recognition for development of skills standards in information
technology (IT) career areas. Through partnerships with business,
education and government, the NWCET strives to develop and
advance IT education through educational programs, courseware

The Women's Center provides men and women with one-on-one career coaching assistance, non-traditional career information, referral to scholarship sources and community resources, and career transition and life planning classes for students and community members.
