Class Description
Now that your child is beyond five years of age, he or she has officially reached "middle childhood". This class is designed to deal with the growing child and all the issues involved in this new stage of development. The class includes lots of discussion and ideas!
To register, download a Bellevue College (BC) Parent Ed registration form found here. Class placement is based on the date the form is received. For best class choice form should be received as soon as possible.

An Online Class: Parenting the Young Child
Class Description
Information will be available in the Winter Quarter Bellevue College (BC) credit class schedule and on the BC web site under Distance Education.
Help us spread the word, near and far, about this class for parents with children ages birth to five! This class is designed especially for parents who cannot attend our traditional parent and child classes, but is open to present and former Parent Ed students/parents!
It will be conducted completely online, with lecture, observation/activity, reading, peer discussion and support, and individual application components.
The curriculum is divided into units or topics relevant to parenting young children, including Child Development, Temperament, Guidance and Discipline, Effective Communication and Sibling Relationships. Topics will, however, be flexible to meet the needs of the parents who are enrolled.
