Thomas Pritchard named
Vice President of Student Services

BELLEVUE -- Thomas W. Pritchard, of Sammamish, has been promoted to Vice President of Student Services at Bellevue Community College.

Pritchard came to BCC in 1995 as an instructor in the Criminal Justice program, and transitioned to an administrative position in 2000 as chair of the Social Science Division. He also has served in a variety other capacities at BCC, including Interim Director of the National Workforce Center for Emerging Technologies and Interim Dean of Student Services.

A major focus for Pritchard as Vice President of Student Services will be leadership of the college’s student success and retention initiative, which is designed to significantly increase student completion rates.

Pritchard is a graduate of Bellevue Community College, the University of Washington School of Economics and the UW School of Law.
