BCC’s award-winning jazz vocal ensemble
in concert June 8
BELLEVUE, WASH. – Bellevue Community College’s award-winning and nationally noted vocal jazz ensemble, Celebration!, will perform publicly June 8 at BCC’s annual spring vocal jazz concert.
The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. in Carlson Theatre, located in the E Building on BCC’s main campus (3000 Landerholm Circle S.E., Bellevue, at the intersection of S.E. 28th St. and 148th Ave. S.E.).
Tickets, at $7 general admission and $5 for students and seniors, will be available only at the door, beginning at 7 p.m.
Earlier this year the 17-member “Celebration!” and its members won first place in all five categories they entered at the annual Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival the largest such event in the world.
Celebration! is directed by BCC Music Instructor Thomas Almli.
