BCC students who sign up by July 14 can win tuition-free Fall Quarter
BELLEVUE, WASH. – A full quarter of tuition-free education at Bellevue Community College is up for grabs by full-time students who register by July 14.
All students who register by the deadline for at least 12 fall-quarter credits – and who meet the standard Aug. 15 tuition payment date -- are automatically entered in the tuition-reimbursement drawing, which is sponsored by the BCC Foundation. There are no special contest forms to fill out.
The winner will be selected randomly by computer and announced in late September.
Upon successful completion of the quarter, the winner will be reimbursed in full by the BCC Foundation for his or her tuition costs, up to $1,051.40 (in-state tuition for 18 credits).
To register for fall-quarter classes, students should go to www.bellevuecollege.edu and click on ‘Enrollment.”
“The BCC Foundation intends this drawing to be a fun way to encourage students to make their fall plans early, so they can get the best classes to fit their schedules,” said Gaynor Hills, executive director of the foundation.
Annually the Foundation awards more than $150,000 in merit- and need-based scholarships to BCC students.
The Bellevue Community College Foundation, directed by a board of 24 community volunteers, is a non-profit organization that receives and manages gifts from individuals and corporations on behalf of BCC. Since its inception in 1978, the BCC Foundation has raised more than $20 million on behalf of Bellevue Community College to support scholarships and program enhancements.
