Six BCC employees recognized for excellence
BELLEVUE, WASH. – The Bellevue Community College Foundation has conferred Margin of Excellence Awards on six BCC faculty and staff members in recognition of their outstanding work in support of the college and its students.
Nominated by BCC students, faculty and staff, each honoree received a $1,000 award from the Foundation.
Recipients are: - Judith Paquette, of Bellevue, Accounting Instructor - Garnet Templin-Imel, of Renton, Adult Basic Education and ESL Instructor - Ramona Decker, of Kent, Secretary Lead in BCC’s Health Sciences, Education & Wellness Institute - Rose Pugh, of rural Stanwood, Math Instructor and Math Lab Director - Carole Berg, of Renton, Chemistry Instructor - Faisal Jaswal, of Oak Harbor, Assistant Dean of Student Programs
The Bellevue Community College Foundation, directed by a board of 24 community volunteers, is a non-profit organization that receives and manages gifts from individuals and corporations on behalf of BCC. Since its inception in 1978, the BCC Foundation has raised more than $20 million on behalf of Bellevue Community College to support scholarships and program enhancements.
