The Blue Book of Grammar
The Blue Book of Grammar, long in print, in now available on the Web. In addition to answering your grammar and punctuation questions, this site provides exercises and tests to challenge your knowledge.

Common Errors in English
This site, from a Washington State University English professor, lists common errors made in English and how to correct errors. Look at the interesting supplementary pages of "more errors" and "non-errors." Is it ok to end a sentence with a preposition? Find the answer at this site!

History of the English Language
This site from Virginia Tech provides the history of English beginning with "Proto-Indo-European" through Old English, Middle English and American and other English dialects that now exist.

Literary Resources on the Net
