Didaskalia Ancient Theatre Today
"Didaskalia is an electronic resource and journal dedicated to the study of ancient Greek and Roman drama." The site includes lists of performances, conferences, events, news and publications on ancient theatre. The conference in Oxford, UK called "Peace, Birds and Frogs" sounds intriguing. The panel on translating Aristophanes alone would be worth the trip.

Inter-play: An online index to plays in collections, anthologies and periodicals.
This Web site displays citations for theatrical plays. The authors claim that most of the plays cited are "not indexed in the standard printed play indexes such as Ottemiller's Index to Plays in Collections or H. W. Wilson's Play Index." Currently, there are over 17,500 citations of plays ranging from ancient to modern. Foreign language as well as English plays are indexed. You may search by playwright or by play. Utah Shakespearean Festival: Educational Resources
"This site has synopses, lists of characters, articles, links, and other teaching aids for the plays and lives of Shakespeare and other playwrights (Barrie, Chekhov, Gilbert and Sullivan, Miller, Molière, and several others). There are also general theater resources. Material is from the archives of Insights, Midsummer Magazine, study guides, souvenir programs, and other publications of the Utah Shakespearian Festival.
