To change this activity, you could:
  • Change the scenarios to reflect specific informational needs in your discipline.
  • Change the questions to highlight a specific concept that is being covered in class. (For example, focus your questions on evaluation of types of resources if that is what is being covered in class.)
  • As a follow up, you could have the students try to find answers to the questions that the scenarios raise. Can students apply their knowledge and find the answer?
