Summary In this activity, students will search for different types of library materials and then link the resources together in an annotated bibliography. The search for different types of materials will give students practice in using a variety of search tools offered by the Library Media Center. |

Purpose The purpose of this activity is to give students practice in finding and using different library materials. By requiring that students use different types of resources, they will need to learn to use different search tools to find the required resources. Students will then practice bringing the materials together by creating a thesis statement/sentence and annotated bibliography. Learning Outcomes This activity addresses the following outcomes:
